The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services into the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering solutions such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency reported it can be alarmed in regards to the higher range of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The goal of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some large here range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no totally functional office committed to service the area on a daily basis. The provider point designed for intervention ordeals a higher influx of opportunity beneficiaries, which makes it challenging for the office to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more resources to enable the servicing of all customers and increase access to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
